Manage fleet

In Unification Wars, military power determines your Power Ratio (PR). The higher your PR, the more powerful your empire. This game has 96 types of ships classified into offensive, defensive and support.
  • Offensive ships are used as a means to attack other empire. Offensive ships if build will remove DP of your empire only if build in systems but not in outpost.

  • Defensive ships are used to defend your empire from attack by other empire. Example of defensive ship are starbase. Starbase if build will not remove DP of your empire.

Manage Fleets
A fleet is a group of ships. If you have 10 systems, then you may have up to 10 fleets. A system can only have a fleet of ships. Every different fleet will have different stacks and amount of ships depending on how you arrange them. When you build ships you have to choose which system's fleet you want to build to. You also can move your desired amount of ships from one fleet to another.

Now, having stronger fleets at different systems will effect how well you defend that system or your success level on attacking and capturing planets for that system when you attack. Bear in mind that only the top six ranking of your fleet will go into battle while defending or attacking.

Stacking is very important, this is strategy you have to devise yourself or learn from more experienced players. Different fleets with different stacking (Ships type and amount put into order) will have different results in defending and attacking. It is wise to have stronger fleet in systems you want to attack with or defending your most valuable system.

View & organize fleet according to system
Fleets are organized according to system; each fleet consist of ships arranged according to stack based on Pr. The higher total Pr for particular ship, it will be positioned in higher stack. For example:

StackShipPr
1Type A 2,000,000,000
2Type B 1,500,000,000
3Type C 1,000,000,000
4Type D 950,000,000
5Type E 900,000,000
6Type F 850,000,000

To arrange ships in stack, build or disband any ships.

Then you will see list of systems, click on the destination system and Figure 4 will be shown on Primary Display. Hints! You can move any amount of ships at the same time. To easily clear amount entered, click on the button.

Disband
Disbanding ships means demolishing your available ship. You can choose how many ships in which fleet to disband. You can use this to re-organize your fleet by disbanding unwanted ships. It doesn't use up turns to disband ships.
Try not to disband too many ships because ships are costly to build and disbanding ships is not always advisable. However, there are cases where you will need to disband ships because ships need upkeep or money to support. You'll have to pay for the upkeep of the ships every turn you use. Having more ships than you can afford will bring you into debt. That is a really bad situation that you don't want to get into. Do some calculations before you build or disband your ships.
Navigation!Disbanding ships is done in via Command Menu: Manage Empire > Military > Fleet. Above figure will be show on Primary Display, enter the amount of ship you want to disband in the disband column and click on "Disband" button. Clicking X button will enter max amount of ship you have of particular type; a quick way to disband all ships.

Figure 5 : Moving fleet (Command Menu)

Hints! You can disband multiple ships; just enter the amount for each ship you want to disband. Plus, if you are using multiple systems fleets management, you too can disband ships in multiple systems.

Reverse Engineer
Note: This is only available to certain alien races
When you successfully capture ships from a battle, the captured ships will be in your fleet. However you cannot build them later on. You'll need to reverse engineer the ships you have captured in order to build them. Remember, this effect is permanent, you can only reverse engineer a certain amount of ship types from each race. Therefore, we strongly suggest players to plan first which ships you would like to reverse engineer.

Navigation!Reverse Engineer ship is done via Command Menu: Manage Empire > Military > Fleet. Figure 5 will be show on Primary Display, click on the ship to Reverse Engineer. It will take up to 9 turns for each process.

Figure 6: Reverse Engineer Ships

Hints! Each time you Reverse Engineer ship, it will require 9 turns plus consume 5 ships. Make sure you have meet minimum amount of ship before do so. An abbreviation of Reverse Engineer is 'RE'.
