Attacking Rules
When an empire decides to attack another empire, it is always best to attack some empire that is considerably resourceful and profitable to attack. For example, if you attack an empire that has just been attacked. That certain empire might not have good amount of resources to capture or conquer or demolish. It would be just a waste of your empire's resources. Putting empires that have been heavily damaged into protection will give that certain empire time to build up so that it will profit the next attacker or build good fleets to do battle with. That is why there are rules for attacking in this game.
General Rule
- Players who have suffered too much damage will go under Damage Protection
- You can't attack someone in Newbie Protection
- You can't attack if you in Newbie Protection
- To win the attacker must ensure the defender`s fleet loses more Pr than the attacker`s fleet
- You will win more planets if you attack someone stronger
Note: Newbie Protection is empires below 5,000 Pr
Attack - Invasion An invasion attack is an attack done by empires for any motives it desires. The rule for invasion:
- You cannot attack anyone 300% above your Pr
- You cannot attack anyone whose Pr is less than -150% of your Pr.
- Invasions can only be executed if the target empire is within 4 bil Pr range
Attack - Retaliation Invasion When your empire got attacked no matter you are put into protection or not, you will have the privilege to Retaliate Invade the Invader. You will be given a time frame for the retaliation. Only one retaliation will be awarded for one invasion. You will not be rewarded if you perform a Retaliation Invasion. Be careful as retaliations have to be done carefully. The rule for retaliation: - You cannot attack anyone 50x above your Pr
- You cannot attack anyone whose Pr is less than -250% of your Pr.
- Retaliation attacks can only be executed if the target empire is within 5 bil Pr range.
Attack or Defend - Flanking Flanking is a type of attack which is executed if the attacker's or defender's fleet outnumbered rival's fleet in battle in term of stacks. Only stacks from 2nd to last can execute flanking attack by choosing random target of rival's fleet. For example, you attack (or defend) using 6 stacks of fleet while your rival only have 3 stacks of fleet. In this battle, your 4th until 6th stacks will execute flank attack on rival fleet. Current flanking damage is 90%.
Stack | You | Rival | | Battle Details |
---|
1 | A1 | R1 | A1 attacking R1 | 2 | A2 | R2 | A2 attacking R2 | 3 | A3 | R3 | A3 attacking R3 | 4 | A4 | | A4 flanking R2 | 5 | A5 | | A5 flanking R3 | 6 | A6 | | A6 flanking R1 |
Note: Flanking efficiency has been reduced from 100% to 90%.
Attack - Suicide Suicide will no longer qualify for attack bonus (ex: attack bonus is given if you are attacking someone stronger)
Planet tax Some planets are deducted whenever you win planets. If you have less than ten million planets, 25% will be deducted from the amount of planets you win, and if you have more than 10 million planets, 30% will be deducted. (e.g. with the planet tax, you will get 75,000 planets from a 100,000 planets win if you have less than 10 million planets and you will get 70,000 planets from a 100,000 planets win if you have more than 10 million planets.)
Win Planet Calculations The more powerful the person you fight with, the more planets you gain as the chances of winning is lower.
Attacking someone stronger |
---|
Target > 200% | gain 3.6% to 7.2% | Target > 100% | gain 3.4% to 6.8% | Target > 50% | gain 3.2% to 6.4% | Target > 30% | gain 3.0% to 6.0% |
Target > 0% | gain 2.8% to 5.6% |
Attacking someone weaker |
---|
Target < 10% | gain 2.8% to 5.6% | Target < 30% | gain 2.4% to 4.8% | Target < 200% | gain 2% to 4% | Target > 200% | gain 1% to 2% |
Note: `Target >` and `Target <` means the Pr difference between you and the person you are trying to attack
Bonus Damage for attacking stronger targets +30% damage if your Pr is below your target +25% damage if your Pr is below 10% of your target +20% damage if your Pr is below 20% of your target +15% damage if your Pr is below 30% of your target
Encouragement for stacking Players will gain a bonus when they use a balanced 6 stacks of ships when attacking. This means all the stacks are almost the same Pr, with the first stack having less than 20% of the total ship Pr
Bonus: 10% bonus weapon to attacker`s 1st , 2nd or 3rd stack (random)
The stack that receives this bonus will be marked with a yellow `*` in the attack page.
Stack spam penalty How this works is, if the first stack of either the defending or attacking fleet contains more than x% of the total ship pr, that stack will do negative % damage. reinforcements pr (if any) will be calculated into the total ship pr as well. this negative % damage will not work on reinforcements stacks
stack1 > 90% ship pr ; -60% damage from stack1 stack1 > 80% ship pr ; -50% damage from stack1 stack1 > 70% ship pr ; -40% damage from stack1 stack1 > 60% ship pr ; -30% damage from stack1 stack1 > 50% ship pr ; -25% damage from stack1 stack1 > 40% ship pr ; -20% damage from stack1
Fodder Spam If the 1st stack does 0 damage (ex: fodders & scouts), then the hull will be reduced according to the damage reduction. For example if a player have more a 90% Pr fodder on his first stack, his fodder will receive -35% hull reduction
Tips & Suggestions When attacking, although chances of winning is greater if you attack someone less powerful than you however the number of planets you win will be lower. The more powerful your target is, the more planets you will gain (if you are successful).
