Attacking


Attacking is a hostile non-diplomatic means of developing your empire. You can enlarge your empire through battle or lower your opponent's empire. It depends on what strategy you are playing with. Because of this, attackers will have the privilege of choosing the type of attack they want to make on a targeted-unprotected empire. However, there are rules and regulations that you have to follow to attack another empire in the universe.

Different types of attacks
When you attack another empire, you can choose different motives of your attack. It could be you want to capture more planets for your system, destroying or crippling your opponent or just have a look (spy) on your opponent. Different attacking methods will result in different outcomes. You'll get to choose the methods or motive of your attack when you are confirming your attack on your target empire.
Note that defending empires cannot determine the method of the attack. Therefore, all players should beware when they are out of protection.

Invasion
Attacker does 100% damage.
Defender does 105% damage.
Defender received a Retaliation attack.
Defender received Reinforcements from federation members, lord & vassals.
Attacker can't attack empires -150% below attacker`s Pr or 300% higher.

If wins:
Attacker received planets from defender.
Chances to destroys defender`s system if it has less than 1,000 planets
Deals 120% damage to planets duties.
Retaliation
Attacker does 110% damage.
Defender does 100% damage.
Defender received Reinforcements from federation, members, lord & vassal.
Attacker can't attack empires -250% below attacker's Pr.

If wins:
Attacker received planets from defender.
Chances to destroys system is if it has less than 1,000 planets.
Deals 120% damage to planets duties.


Recon
Attacker does 10% damage.
Defender does 20% damage.
Defender received a Retaliation attack.
Defender received Reinforcements from federation members, lord & vassals.
Attacker can't attack empires -150% below attacker's Pr or 300% higher.-Ships on both sides takes much less losses.

If wins:
You will have a snap shot of the enemy's system information.

Skirmish
Attacker does 50% damage.
Defender does 40% damage.
Defender received a Retaliation attack.
Defender received Reinforcements from federation members, lord & vassals.
Attacker can't attack empires -150% below attacker's Pr or 300% higher.

Suicide
Attacker does 210% damage.
Defender does 240% damage.
Defender received a Retaliation attack.
Defender received Reinforcements from federation members, lord & vassals.
Attacker can't attack empires -150% below attacker's Pr or 300% higher.

If wins:
Destroys minimum 1,000 planets.
Destroys system if system have less than 3,000 planets.
Destroys 6.9% (estimate) planets if system contain more than 15,000 planets (defender Pr is lower than attacker).
Destroys 7.9% (estimate) planets if system contain more than 15,000 planets (defender Pr is higher than attacker).
Deals 200% damage to planets duties.
Raid
Attacker does 25% damage.
Defender does 30% damage.
Defender received a Retaliation attack.
Defender received Reinforcements from federation members, lord & vassals.
Attacker can't attack empires -150% below attacker`s Pr or 300% higher.

If wins:
Defender credits($) will be stolen.
